The foliage of White Asian Birch is chartreuse and grows to 10cm. Early spring male yellow-brown catkins grow to 8cm. Asian Silver Birch is good for use as a screening tree, in a grove or as a specimen. The foliage is more dense than other Birch species. Easy to grow and adaptable to most soil types. Asian Silver Birch grows to a narrowly conical tree. It is endemic to Japan.
