A yellow fleshed potato with that faint buttery flavour much sort after by chefs. 'Nicola' is a fantastic cultivar. Recommended for mash, boiling or baking. 'Nicola' potatoes take around 120 days to mature.
There are lots of ways to grow Potatoes. They are so easy, they will succeed in the ground, in pots or even grown in sacks!
All you need to do is make sure you are planting your Potatoes into prepared soil in a sunny spot, and that you mound them during their growing season. This means, as the bush grows upward you mound soil around the stem. This both ensures the tubers are underground, and won't turn green in the suns light, as well as increasing your harvest.
