Mauve blue flowers float above this shady ground cover.
Soft blue flowers open in abundance. The flowers are on 15cm stems and the flower heads average 10cm across. Phlox 'Blue Ridge' flowers for months spring to summer. Dead head regularly encourage more blooms.
Phlox 'Blue Ridge' is also known as Creeping Phlox. It is an excellent evergreen ground cover for part shade areas. It is native to woodland zones of North America.
Plant Phlox 'Blue Ridge' into humus rich, moist, well drained soil. Fertilise regularly when in flower to keep them blooming at their best. Dry tolerant once established. Prune in autumn to keep the plants bushy and vigorous.
