Viburnum Lanarth
Bright green foliage on tiered branches.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Handsome, tiered branches of bright green foliage that when in flower appear snow covered. The leaves turn purple to burgundy in autumn. A double file or double flowering Viburnum.
Blooms are a combination of large infertile flowers and small, fertile flowers in the middle. If the blooms are fertilized they will mature to ornamental rose red fruits that age to black (inedible).
The rough leaves are around 10cm long, medium to dark green with serrated edges. They turn a lovely purple red in autumn before they fall.
Viburnums are vigorous shrubs that becomes dry tolerant once they establish. They will grow in average soils, but prefer the idealist, humus rich, moist, well drained. Suitable for a part shade to full sun position. Prune out the odd vertical branch after flowers.
