The lightly fragrant, albino blooms open on thin stems with up to 10 flowers on a stem. The flowers also last well in a vase. Each bloom averages 2.5-5cm across. The pleated, bright green leaves of Bletilla Alba clump together close to the ground. Plant in dappled light to full sun in cooler climates and allow to naturalise. Bletilla Alba grows well in moist, humus rich, well drained soil.
