Aquilegia Calimero
A dwarf Aquilegia of great beauty.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

A compact Aquilegia form with beautiful, wine red spurs and lemon petals. Aquilegia 'Camilero' was named after an Italian cartoon character that toured the world with a half an egg on his head!
The leaves form a nice neat mound of soft, fern like foliage. A hardy variety. Aquilegia are best grown in part shade where their flowers last longer. They like humus rich, moist soil. After flowering through spring into summer, their foliage dies back and becomes dormant to re-emerge next spring.
