The outer petals are a rosy pink with a pretty, apricot spotted interior.
The Polkadot Foxgloves have larger flowers that open in nice dense racemes. The blooms are sterile, so rather than using energy to set seed it is put into longer lasting blooms.
Foxglove blooms start to open at the bottom of the stalks and gradually move upward, providing a long show of fantastic colour. This large ornamental plant is a striking addition to any garden.
The flowers can open from spring right into late summer or early autumn. Polkadot Foxgloves grow 60-90cm tall on strong stems. The base of the stems have evenly branched foliage. These Foxgloves are true perennials and will live for 3-5 years in your garden.
Digitalis look best grouped toward the middle or back of a bed, where their tall blossoms add beautiful colour.
Plant into well drained soil, water in and keep moist in active growth. The blooms are suitable for cutting.
