Delicate, Daffodil like flowers.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Epimedium ‘Sulphureum’ is one of the fastest growing of the Epimediums. The blooms are bicolour, with a soft, creamy yellow background and deeper, Sulphur yellow petals and spurs. The flowers open on straight, narrow stems.
The new, heart shaped leaves are mottled with red, they mature to mid green then blush red again in autumn. This gives the plant a long period of interest.
Epimedium ‘Sulphureum’ copes better with dry shade than most Epimedium.
Epimediums are clump forming rhizomatous perennials native to woodland areas. The grow best in moist, humus rich soils in a part shade to bright light position. They are good for planting beneath trees, in shaded borders, shady ground covers or in pots.
Fertilise and mulch Epimediums in winter. Divide every 3-5 years. Protect new foliage from slugs and snails.
