Plant Sisyrinchium 'California Skies' in rock gardens, borders, pots, alpine gardens or as an edging plant. They grow best in moderately fertile, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Ensure drainage is good as they tend to rot if left sitting in water.
Sisyrinchium are semi evergreen and the foliage should be cut back in autumn to keep the plants looking and flowering at their best. Divide in spring as required.
As the name suggests, Sisyrinchium californicum 'California Skies' originated in California.
