Penstemon Mother of Pearl

Pearly pink flowers with handsome, red markings in the throat.

You will have up to five months of flowers from these incredible plants.

Water to establish then only if rainfall is low. Penstemon 'Czar' s dry tolerant once established. Plant in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Drainage is important. Dead head regularly to encourage more flowers.

Protect these young tubestock plants from frost. Pot these Penstemon tubes on (put into bigger pots) until the threat of frost is over. They become more hardy as they establish. Then plant them out in the garden. Grow Penstemon in beds, border or containers.
