Pandorea Bower Vine
A free flowering native.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

It ticks all the boxes, vigorous, long flowering and low maintenance. The pretty, pink flowers have a deeper, magenta throat. Each, sweetly fragrant flower is 3-4cm long. The foliage is mid to dark green and glossy.
Bower Vine is endemic to coastal NSW and Qld. Plant Blower Vines to grow along fences, over patios, along lattice supports on walls or as a ground cover. They are also suitable for container plantings. It climbs with twining tendrils.
Protect young Bower Vine plants from frost. Pot these tubes on (put into bigger pots) until the threat of frost is over. Then plant them out in the garden in spring. Young plants are sensitive to frost, but established plants become frost tolerant.
Plant your Bower Vine in a sunny spot, they will tolerate more shade in warmer climates. In cool climates, choose a warm spot in the garden. Grow in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Water to establish, then only if rainfall is low.
The botanical name, Pandorea comes from the Greek god, Pandora; the seed pods have many seeds. Though they are not invasive
