Rich pink blooms tinted with a touch of apricot. Flowers for a long time, from October to May. Tough, hardy and drought tolerant.
The foliage of Agastache has a strong mint - anise fragrance. This is strongest when brushed up against.
You should dead head flowers of Agastache regularly, to encourage more blooms. Agastache plants prefer s full sun position and a well drained soil. They need water to establish, then only if rainfall is low, though the flowering season will last longer if the plant is kept moist. Cut back to the ground in winter to maintain a healthy bush.
Agastache is also known as Giant hyssop and Hummingbird mint, and is a native to the South Western U.S.
