Double Hollyhock Chamois
Frilly pink blooms.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Soft peachy pink, fully double blooms. The blooms resemble Carnations or Peonies in their fullness.
Hollyhock have rounded, lobed leaves that grow all along the strong stems. Hollyhock are long blooming biennial plants that will set seed for future generations (non invasive).
Hollyhock have a delightful, old world charm and are easily grown. Plant in well drained soil, in a full sun position that is sheltered from strong winds. The tall stems provide your garden with good vertical interest. They grow vigorously and should be fertilised in spring and summer. Keep just moist when growing. Ensure plants have good air flow.
Remove spent Hollyhock flowers to encourage a second flush and promote a healthy plant. Wait until the seeds have dropped to do this. The botanic name, Alcea originated from the plant species use in medicine. It comes from Altheo which means to heal or to cure.
