Lovely and robust.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

A truly rare and unusual Lilium which is hard to find but easy to grow. Native to rocky limestone slopes this is a hardy Lilium variety which enjoys cool climates and good drainage.
Through the summer months huge funnel shaped, pendent blooms open atop tall stems. The petals are cream to green with a rich, purple red throat. The flowers have a nice perfume.
Nepalense Lilium 'Robusta' will not need to be lifted and will multiply by means of 'stolons' within your garden, these are similar to rhizomes and will establish a colony over time so your joy will be multiplied and you can share this remarkable bulb with friends.
Plant where the soil is well drained, especially in autumn and winter wet. The bulbs tend to rot in those conditions.
