Get the blues.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Bright, purple blue flowers with conspicuous anthers. The bicolour effect of the two is gorgeous. The flowers open freely, each 10-12cm across. The vine will grow 1.8-2.4m and is in Pruning Group 2, which means a light prune after the first bloom.
Jackmanii Clematis are large flowering Clematis and they make a dazzling display. The vine tendrils in bloom become covered in flowers, and look like brilliant jewels strung up in your garden. They make a statement of beauty without being overpowering.
The spring and autumn flower show is nothing short of wonderful. It is perfect to soften harsh edges such as posts, pergolas fences and walls. Clematis can even grow through shrubs and trees, bringing more colour through the seasons. They are so versatile, you can even use them as a ground cover.
Jackmanii Clematis are easy to grow and ideal for beginners.
Clematis grow well where Roses grow well. They are also excellent in combination. You can use similar colours for a lovely blend, or create some drama with contrasting shades. Clematis will intermingle well with many plants. They are fast growing and produce lots of flowers.
Plant your Clematis so their 'head' is in the sun and their 'feet' are in the shade. In other words they like their root zone to be cool and protected, and the stem to grow up into a sunny position. You can protect the root zone with mulch, and or by using other plants to shield the roots from the sun.
To perform at their best, Clematis should be fertilised well. Use a Rose Fertiliser every three months or so.
