The masses of blooms crowd the dark leaves from summer through to frost. The handsome, evergreen foliage is deep green with a dark purple reverse. The plants are compact, upright, well branched and bloom for an impressive period.

Plectranthus Velvet Collection is useful as a border filler, specimen plant or in a container. It even makes a great houseplant.

A part shade to morning sun position is ideal. They easily tolerate root competition under trees.

Water to establish, then only if rainfall is low, they are dry tolerant once established. In cold climates they are deciduous; everywhere else can enjoy them year round. Give them a light prune after flowering to keep them nice and tidy.
