Plectranthus 'Velvet Diva'

An easy care big, impact plant. It has the second largest flowers of the Velvet Series and boasts plenty of them.

Large, bright, violet blooms mass on the upright stems above the dark foliage from summer through to autumn. The handsome, evergreen, upright, mounding foliage is deep green. The plants are compact and well branched and bloom for a long period. Quick to establish and maintenance free, they are an easy choice.

Plectranthus ‘Velvet Diva’ is a new, garden worthy addition. Useful as a border filler, specimen plant or in a container. It can even make a great house plant.

This vigorous plant will establish quickly, is easy to grow and will even thrive in poor soils. A part shade to morning sun position is ideal. They easily tolerate root competition under trees.

Water to establish, then only if rainfall is low, they are dry tolerant once established. In cold climates they are deciduous; everywhere else can enjoy them year round. Give them a light prune after flowering to keep them nice and tidy.
