Thalictrum Hewitt's Double

This exquisite perennial is prized for its masses of double lavender-pink flowers that appear suspended above finely divided, fern-like foliage during summer. The blooms are carried on slender, branching stems, creating a light, airy effect that brings movement and elegance to the garden.

Its tall, graceful habit makes it perfect for adding vertical interest to mixed borders, cottage gardens and naturalistic plantings. Despite its height, the open growth allows neighbouring plants to be seen through it, creating beautiful layered combinations and a soft, romantic garden atmosphere.

Thriving in fertile, moisture-retentive yet well-drained soil, it performs best in a sunny or partly shaded position. The delicate foliage remains attractive throughout the growing season, contributing fine texture even when the plant is not in flower.

Ideal for combining with roses, foxgloves, salvias and ornamental grasses, it adds a sense of refinement and effortless beauty to planting schemes. Long-flowering and highly ornamental, it is an exceptional choice for gardeners seeking height, texture and graceful colour in summer displays.
