A beautiful double Oriental with mid pink petals fading to white at the centre. There is a light smattering of burgundy freckles too. The petals unfurl slowly, parading their layers for up to three weeks. They are sterile, so there is no mess and they will last almost twice as long as ordinary lilies.
This is special new breeding right out of The Netherlands. The world’s leading lily breeders, Vletter Den Haan, we are hoping to see more of these in the future.
Simply plant, fertilise and enjoy. Leave them in the ground to establish and they will bring you years of joy. Choose a humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny location. They will appreciate afternoon shade in warmer climates.
Keep your Double Oriental Lilies moist while in growth, and fertilise at the start of the season, and again as the flowers are finishing. Mulching over the summer will help to help maintain moisture levels in the soil.
They will take between 10-14 weeks to flower. A little faster in warmer weather.
