The brilliant florets open tight, clustered buds, into dazzling, star shaped blooms. There are up to 70 of these little beauties on a stem and they last around three weeks.

Amethyst Meadow Squill are good for naturalising, the bulbs will grow large before they begin to produce offsets.
Plant Squill in well drained, humus rich soil in a full sun to light shade position. Water well in active growth and allow to remain relatively dry during dormancy.
Other names for Amethyst Meadow Squill are Syn. Scilla amethystine, S. pratensi, Wood Squill and Meadow Squill.
