The brilliant florets open tight, clustered buds, into dazzling, star shaped blooms. There are up to 70 of these little beauties on a stem and they last around three weeks late spring to summer.
Generous with flowers and foliage, Amethyst Meadow Squill is a winner. The upright, lush green leaves grow to around 15cm and the blooms open above it.
Amethyst Meadow Squill are good for naturalising and will produce offsets at a steady pace. It holds the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit so you know it will be hardy and reliable.
Plant Amethyst Meadow Squill in well drained, humus rich soil in a full sun to light shade position. Water well in active growth and allow the bulb to remain relatively dry during dormancy.
