Sumo Oriental Lilies Robina

White flowers with a strong flash of pink through the centre. Up to 12 blooms on a single stem, each flower up to 14cm across. ‘Robina’ is an Oriental Triumph or O.T Hybrid Lily. They have the colour of Oriental Lilies and the fragrance and shape of the Christmas (also known as Triumph or Trumpet) Lily.

Sumo Lilies are the biggest and the best Lilium bulbs on offer. The bulbs are huge, which means you can expect plenty of flowers from the get go. Why are they so big? Because they have been grown by the cut flower industry and once they reach a certain size, they actually have too many flowers! This is not so good in bunches but fantastic in the garden.

Sumo O.T. Lilies add glamour and fragrance to the garden. They are also tough, and able to withstand our hot summers.

Plant Sumo O.T. Lilies in a sunny spot. Water to establish and keep them moist in active growth for best results.

Ensure you fertilise your Sumo O.T. Lilies well, this will make certain of the best blooms. It is ideal to fertilise when you first see growth, then again as the flowers are fading.

In warmer climates, if you grow your Sumo O.T. Liliums in part shade or morning sun the flowers last longer.

Gorgeous in the garden and perfect for cut flowers too.
