These flowers are big … coming in at up to or just over 20cm across! The large blooms are sure to cause a sensation in summer. By staking early you won't disturb the roots later on. Tie the branches with loose garden ties or old stockings to avoid damaging the stems this is easy to do and well worth the effort.

Dahlias tubers take around eight weeks from planting to flowering. Plant your Dahlia tuber in a sunny spot into moist, humus rich, well drained soil. Water in well then keep moist during active growth.
