Size (HxW): 50-90cm x 50-90cm
Depth & Spacing: Plant at the same level as in the pot with roots spread below soil surface. Space 50-90cm apart.
Soil: Moderately fertile to humus rich, moist, well drained soil is ideal. Adaptable to most soils as long as they are well drained. If too rich, the plant may stretch.
Aspect: Full sun to semi shade
Climate: Cool to Mediterranean
Frost: Hardy
Water: Water to establish, dry tolerant once established. Tends to rot in poorly drained soils.
Fertiliser: Apply a well balanced fertiliser in summer with the flowers.
Flowering Time: Summer to autumn
After Flower Care: Cut back to woody stems around 30cm in winter to allow the new spring growth to shine, they flower on new wood.
Notes: Handsome as part of a mixed shrub border, in a garden bed or as a low hedge.
