Double Fringed Tulip Mascotte

Fully double magenta pink flowers with a pretty frilled edge. A gorgeous new tulip that flowers mid season. The flowers last well in a vase or the garden.
Double Tulips unfurl gradually to expose layer upon layer of petals, like old fashioned frilly petticoats. The large flowers are long lasting on short to medium stems. Double Tulips are great in pots or garden beds. You can use these large blooms to create platforms of colour in your beds.
Tulips look best en masse. When planting keep this in mind and plant them quite densely.
Tulips have a bit of a Prima Donna reputation. And while they are a little more work than some bulbs, they do put on an amazing show. Once you know how though they are easy as pie!
An easy way to remember when to plant your Tulips is Mother`s Day, by this time of year the soil has cooled sufficiently for planting.
