Strawberries Juliette
Australian bred for vigour and taste.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Strawberry 'Juliette' produces plenty of bright red, full flavoured fruits. It is an early season fruiter beginning in September in Victoria and around October in other states. Bred in Australia it has good resistance to heat, and our pests and diseases. It has strong skin so Powdery Mildew is rarely a problem.
It is a highly productive variety with large, flavoursome fruit. It is a Short Day Variety so fruits from early in the season when the weather is cool.
Strawberry 'Juliette' has firm fruit so it can be picked earlier and will last longer in storage - this is one of the reasons it has become popular with commercial growers. This is good for the home gardener because you can pick it a little earlier out of the way of the birds and snails etc.
The taste of home grown strawberries is so much sweeter than the ones from the supermarket, they are simply irresistible. Strawberries are easy and rewarding to grow.
Strawberries should be planted in to prepared soil. We recommend digging through some mulch and or well rotted manure prior to planting.
Strawberries flourish in well drained, fertile soils and need at least six hours sun a day to fruit well. It is a good idea to mulch your Strawberries to keep the area free of weeds and lock in the moisture. You should also protect your Strawberries from slugs, snails and birds.
Strawberries grow well in pots, vegetable gardens or ornamental beds.
