Blue Vervain 'Blue Spires' grows to form upright clumps with masses (and we mean masses) of violet blue flowers. The blooms open in abundance from early summer to early autumn.

The leaves are lance shaped and grow to 15cm below the flower stems.

Grow in moderately fertile to humus rich, moist, well drained soil. They like a nice sunny position. In full sun they will grow in boggy soils.
