Salvia 'Black and Bloom'
Tough as old boots.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

An excellent Salvia that blooms almost nonstop, powering through heat, drought and humidity with nary a car. It is quick to establish and simple to grow.
The deep blue florets open from dark, almost black calyxes above the foliage, forming a colourful haze over the plant. The leaves are lovely and thick, and stand up to the heat.
Salvia ‘Black and Bloom’ is a great choice for gardens or large containers. These rugged plants require little and do so much.
Plant into moderately fertile, to humus rich, well drained soil. Choose a sunny position and water to establish, they become dry tolerant once they have settled in.
The aromatic foliage and abundant flowers attract bees, butterflies and birds.
