The sweet white flowers to 3.5cm across open freely amongst evergreen green leaves. The flowers have a pretty golden crest on the petal falls. The flowers open on short stems to around 15cm.

Dwarf Crested Iris ‘Alba’ grows well in dry shade or moist sun. This makes them nice and versatile in the garden! Try them as a ground cover under deciduous trees, by a sunny pond, in rockeries, pots or the edges of garden beds.

Dwarf Crested Iris ‘Alba’ or Iris cristata has sword shaped, chartreuse foliage that grows to 15cm tall. In the right conditions they will gradually spread to form a nice clump.

Plant in well drained, humus rich soil. Plant with the rhizome at the soil surface. Space Dwarf Crested Iris ‘Alba’ around 10cm apart. Water in well, then they will become dry tolerant as they establish.
