A prostrate, trailing or low growing wormwood with fabulous silver leaves. The aromatic foliage is soft to touch and provides nice contrast and texture in the garden. It is brilliant in dry gardens and will reduce erosion.
Wormwood ‘Morris Strain’ is well branched and forms a handsome, dense mound. Use them in garden beds, rock gardens, embankments, pots and more. A good companion to Fescue, Sedum or Achillea.
Wormwood ‘Morris Strain’ is virtually bulletproof. Grow in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Once established it is dry tolerant. Choose a sunny spot and prune back late winter or spring to allow the new foliage to shine through. In more mild climates you are unlikely to have to prune.
Artemisia ‘Morris Strain’ is a plant of many names, it is also known as Artemisia Mori’s Form or Mori Form, ‘Broughton Silver’ or ‘Silver Brocade’. Other common names for this Wormwood are Dusty Miller or Sagebrush.
