Parma Violet ‘Conte di Brazza’ is a delightful plant with an abundant display of double, sweetly scented blooms. The evergreen, mid green foliage has a little gloss, and grows to form dense mats. Such an easy choice for shade, pots, hanging baskets, narrow spaces and more.
Parma Violet ‘Conte di Brazza’ has been around since 1883, and has won much acclaim and remains a fast favourite. It remains the only true white Parma Violet.
Parma Violet ‘Conte di Brazza’ blooms begin in late autumn and last right through winter and into spring. Dead head the flowers regularly to help sustain the plant.
Plant Parma Violet ‘Conte di Brazza’ in a part shade position in humus rich, moist, well drained soil. It will tolerate more sun but you have to keep the moisture up to it. It will not tolerate humidity. Protect your plants from slugs and snails, especially whilst young. It is suitable for growing in containers and hanging baskets.
Fertilise Parma Violet ‘Conte di Brazza’ in late summer or autumn to keep it blooming at its best.
