Double Asiatic Lilium Double Sensation

Cherry red petals with a glowing white heart. The layered flowers are an exciting new release, and up to six a produced per bulb. They have great substance, last well and are pollen and fragrance free.

Double Asiatic Liliums are hardy cultivars with bright, colourful, upward facing flowers. Stems average 4-8 blooms, with numbers increasing as the bulbs establish. They make excellent cut flowers and are so easy to grow.

Simply plant, fertilise and enjoy. Leave them in the ground to establish and they will bring you years of joy. Choose a humus rich, moist, well drained soil in a sunny location. They will appreciate afternoon shade in warmer climates, and reward you with a longer show for your trouble.

Keep your lilies moist while in growth and fertilise at the start of the season and again as the flowers are finishing. Mulching over the summer will help maintain moisture levels in the soil.

From planting they average 10-14 weeks to flower.
