Magniflora Tulips (reduced) Collection
The latest and greatest.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.
Magniflora Tulips are the result of improved breeding of Darwin Hybrids. They are longer lasting, more weather and heat proof flowers – perfect for our Australian environment. With a graceful form, somehow less formal than other tulips; the stems are darker, taller and sway beautifully in the breeze. In short they are absolutely garden worthy.
Tulipmania might have transpired nearly four hundred years ago but the spirit lives on in gardeners everywhere!
A simple way to remember when to plant your tulips is to do so around Mother`s Day! This timing is ideal because by this time of year the soil has cooled sufficiently for planting.
All our bulbs are ready to grow; they do not need to be chilled, which is one less thing to do.
It is a good idea to prepare the soil for their arrival by adding some delicious organic matter. Tulips need good drainage and at least six hours sun a day to flower at their best. Plant the bulbs 15-20cm deep with the pointed end up. Space your tulips 10-15cm apart, planting closer for a more spectacular show.
The Magniflora Tulip Collection contains three of each variety, separately labelled. Includes Candy Apple Delight, Hot Honey Rag, Cherry Delight, All That Jazz and Light and Dreamy.
The Magniflora Tulip Collection is Valued at $45.00, SAVE $2.50.
