A lovely, compact plant with an eye catching colour combination. The gorgeous, green foliage has handsome, red to mahogany edging. Each leaf grow to around 1cm.
Red stems topped with little white floral clusters from spring and they last an age.
SIZE (HxW): 5-15cm x 5-15cm
I SEE THE LIGHT: They grow best in a bright, indirect light – if you need a light to read by during the day in their position, it is too dark. Outdoors protect from the hot afternoon sun.

I NEED A DRINK: When watering it is always better to err on the side of caution – too little is better than too much. Water well, then allow the soil to dry out before watering again. Less water is required in winter as they don’t like to be cold and wet. The leaves will shrivel if they are left too dry and may fall off – a great way to get some attention from you!
I WILL SURVIVE: These plants are so easy, they pretty much look after themselves. In pots ensure you choose a cactus/succulent potting mix for best results as it offers the sharp drainage they need. Choose a pot with drainage holes to ensure they don’t end up sitting in water.
You don’t need to fertilise them very often or much, a diluted liquid feed in spring is all they need and they will forgive you if you forget.
If they get leggy, no problem, just give them a light prune, you can even replant the offcuts (allow them to callous, then pop them on top of potting soil and keep them moist), spring is the ideal time for this.
