Russian Sage 'Filigran'
New in 2022.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Sensational plants with incredible staying power. The flowers last for months and months, adding gorgeous, whimsical vertical interest to the garden. ‘Filigran’ has finer foliage, the silver leaves are deeply dissected and it is more straight and upright, and a little more compact than the species.
They tough out the hot and dry conditions once established. It is one of those plants where you always wish you had planted more!
A nice choice to use in combination with spring bulbs as it will hide the fading foliage and remain into autumn. The foliage is silver green with serrated edges and is aromatic, smelling similar to Salvias when crushed.
Grow Perovskia ‘Filigran’ in any well drained soil, in full sun. It is will tolerate dry and coastal conditions.
Also known as Russian Sage, it has recently been reclassified as Salvia yangii.
