Lemon 'Lemonicious'
Excellent value.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.
Perfectly sized for patios and small gardens, these heavy cropping and handsome, dwarf Meyer lemons are handy to have around. Use the fruits in dressings, teas, cocktails, cooking for a bit of zing ooh and let's not forget lemon meringue pie. The lush, evergreen, glossy foliage looks good year round.
The fruit is juicy and sweet as it is a hybrid of a lemon and an orange. A heavy producer with fruits in around three years. You might get some early lemons, but they won't be as tasty as they could be. The tree is establishing a good root system, and putting on growth before they crop.
The small size of these Lemon trees makes them lovely and versatile and a cinch to care for. They don't mind humidity, coastal conditions or frost. Fragrant white flowers open largely in spring but can spot flower throughout the year. Harvest is mainly autumn but once established can remain year round. Plant in the garden or large pot, they don't mind being on high rise balconies either. Grows on its own roots. Keep them well nourished with a citrus fertiliser every six months or so.
