An exceptional Agapanthus with soft, mauve blue flowers, highlighted with a deeper midrib. It will bloom abundantly from early on and has gorgeous, glossy, compact foliage. The upright flowers form a sphere of fabulous colour that is ripe for the picking and can last a fortnight in the vase.
The strappy leaves make a year round feature in gardens or containers. They are lovely and glossy and grow with a handsome density.

Plant in a full sun to part shade position in a moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil, they are at home in sandy soils too. They are robust and resilient and don’t have any issues with pests or disease. Water to establish (plants take around four weeks for the roots to penetrate the surrounding soils), then only if rainfall is low. By removing the spent flower heads you can encourage even more to bloom and extend the season. Dig and divide every three or four years or as required.

Tough, hardy and dry tolerant too, Agapanthus are easy care plants that provide months of flowering with very little effort.
