Masses and masses of pink to orange blooms from spring to autumn over mounding foliage.
Diascia have fallen out of fashion, but with all new breeding, they are back and better than ever. These colourful fillers are annuals (frost tender) or short lived perennials (two to four years before they lose their vigour) with plenty of flower power. They don’t require much fuss and can deliver months of stunning colour.
Diascia are wonderful in the garden and work well in mixed container or solo pots or even hanging baskets.
Plant Diascia after frosts finish, in a full sun to light shade position, they need around six hours a day to flower well. Moderately fertile to humus rich soils are ideal. Fertilise in spring and summer to encourage the best blooms. Suitable for cuttings.
