New in 2025.
Short delay - awaiting stock
Brilliant orange petals with a deeper, magenta red blush. Flowering late in the season, this pointed, lily shaped beauty has bold curves and plenty of style.
Flowering fashionably late in the season, these are the largest of all the tulips. Their size and stature adds grandeur to the garden. We recommend Monet Tulips for their vigour, especially in warmer climates. Of course they also grow really well in the cooler climes.
Our Tip: Plant your tulips closely in a triangle shape to create a lovely full bouquet effect in the garden. When they are planted in lines or individually they can look lost or meagre.
Tulips may have a reputation for being `Prima Donnas’ but in most cases this is undeserved. When you buy a bulb, the flower is already pre-formed and ready to bloom. All you need to do is plant them into well drained soil in a sunny spot, water and then enjoy the show.
A simple way to remember when to plant your tulips is to get them in the ground around Mother`s Day. It doesn’t have to be on the day, it just serves as an easy marker in the calendar. This timing is ideal as by this time the soil has cooled sufficiently for planting and the really hot autumn days are usually done and dusted.
Our Tip: plant a range of early, mid and late flowering tulips to enjoy a lasting and changing display.
All our bulbs are ready to grow; they do not need to be chilled, which is one less thing to do.
