This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

These blooms are beautiful. They are shaded lilac purple at the tips graduating to a white eye and golden throat. Each corm produces 1-3 flowers in a season. The blooms open from late winter to signal the coming of spring. Crocus 'Tricolor' has been awarded the illustrious Royal Horticultural Societies Award of Garden Merit for plants of outstanding excellence.
Unlike most spring flowering bulbs, Crocus 'Tricolor' will cope with a little moisture over summer dormancy, in well drained soil.
Crocus grow best in Cool to Mediterranean climates where they look best in rockeries, beds and pots. Plant in a sunny spot into well drained soil. Crocus will tolerate light shade, such as under deciduous trees, especially in more temperate zones.
Crocus bulbs don't need to be lifted every year, so you can allow them to naturalise and only dig and divide after four or five years. It is a good idea to protect new growth from slugs and snails. Fertilise your Crocus annually in spring. They are suitable for planting in pots, rockeries and towards the front of garden beds.
