Echinacea 'Magnus Superior'
Superior form.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Enjoy months of abundant, rose pink flowers, each topped with a gorgeous, copper cone. This striking Echinacea produces abundant colour from summer and through autumn. The large flower heads are flat, instead of recurred like many other selections, so the blooms look bigger and brighter.
Echinacea ‘Magnus Superior’ is an improved form of the tried and true ‘Magnus’ which has been grown in gardens for almost 40 years. This variety was introduced in 2010 and remains top of the league.
If you dead head regularly they will keep on flowering into the cooler months. They make great cut flowers and last well. If you allow the last of the flower heads to stand, the seed cones will remain decorative to the end, and the birds will benefit too. They are lovely in combination with ornamental grasses, cottage garden plantings or through the middle of garden beds.
The foliage of Echinacea ‘Magnus Superior’ has dark green leaves that grow up along the stems.
Echinacea or Coneflowers grow best in full sun and prosper in any well drained soil, becoming dry tolerant as they establish.
Echinacea, are popularly known as Coneflower. They are endemic to eastern and central North America.
