This is strongest when brushed up against, so if you like it, plant it where it can be enjoyed such as by a pathway. The new leaves can also be brewed to make tea.
Agastache 'Sangria' looks fantastic in dry beds, cottage gardens, rock gardens and large containers. It is an excellent plant for attracting birds, bees and beneficial insects to your garden.
You should dead head Agastache flowers regularly to encourage more blooms.
Tolerant of poor soils, so long as they are well drained, Agastache are ideal for providing long lasting colour as a dry garden plant. Agastache plants prefer a full sun to light shade position. Agastache need water to establish, then only if rainfall is low. However the flowering season will last longer if the plant is kept moist. Cut back to the ground in winter to maintain a healthy bush.
