Fill the shady spots in your garden hardy Winter Roses. With handsome evergreen foliage and blooms from late autumn right into spring they are a winner.

Winter Rose are durable and versatile in the garden. They grow best in bright shade or part shade and beneath deciduous trees. You can also plant Winter in pots. The flowers are long lasting and measure 5-8cm across.

Plant Winter Rose in well drained, humus rich soil. Water to establish, keep moist when in flower. The plants become dry tolerant as they establish. Winter Rose flowers can be picked, you can use the stems in a vase or cut them off to float the blooms in a bowl.
