Blue Spruce is a top specimen tree, growing to a narrow pyramid with the branches going all the way to the ground. The evergreen needles are silver blue, adding both texture and colour to your garden.

Blue Spruce produces cones at the end of the branches. The cones are blue green then pink and finally maturing to brown in autumn. A decorative feature of this handsome tree.

Bleu Spruce likes deep, humus rich soil, neutral to acid on the PH scale. Plant Blue Spruce or Picea pungens glauca in a full sun to part shade position.

The bark of Blue Spruce is grey and scaly flaking to brown. Once mature Blue Spruce is frost, dry and wind tolerant – a tough guy.
