Clematis ‘Romantika’ has petals of purple velvet that are almost black when they open, maturing to a dark purple. The deep colouring contrasts beautifully with yellow foliage and flowers in your garden. The blooms are 10-15cm across with soft yellow stamen. ‘Romantika’ is suitable for growing in pots or in the ground. Pruning group 3, this is a deciduous, climbing Clematis. Jackmanii are large flowering Clematis and they make a dazzling display. The vine tendrils in bloom become covered in flowers, like brilliant jewels strung up in your garden. The Jackmanii Clematis flowers are large and luscious, 10-25cm wide. These varieties grow to a compact 2-3m, they make a statement of beauty without being overpowering. The spring flower show is nothing short of wonderful. Perfect to soften harsh edges - posts, pergolas fences and walls or even trees. Plant your Clematis with their heads in the sun and their roots in the shade for best results. Jackmanii Clematis are to grow and ideal for beginners. They require little in the way of care and are very rewarding.
