Lily of the Valley 'Alba'

With such deliciously fragrant bells it's no wonder Lily of the Valley has graced the gardens of so many generations. The fragrant white flowers open on narrow stems amongst lush green foliage. Once settled in the right spot, Convallaria naturalise readily. They grow best in shaded sites, as an under storey plant or ground cover. Lily of the Valley prefer moist, humus rich, well drained soils. After flowering the blooms of Lily of the Valley can be followed by red fruit (inedible). Once you have planted these garden gems they last forever.
