(4C) Calla Lilies Purple Heart

Deep, rich purple flowers that shine amongst the green foliage. Elegant flower spires in bright, solid colours for summer gardens. The decorative foliage of Calla Lilies is a lush mid to dark green with a covering of ornamental white spots. From planting, Calla Lily bulbs will take 50-60 days to flower. Plant your Calla Lilies to create blocks of bright green colour in the garden. The blooms are bright and vibrant over this lush foil. Plant your Calla Lilies in humus rich, moist, well drained soils. Calla Lilies need to be kept moist when in active growth, especially over the summer flowering period. If they are allowed to dry out they will become dormant and remain so until next season. In cool climates Calla Lilies will naturally become dormant over winter. In warmer climates, if kept moist, they can remain evergreen with spot flowering year round. Grow in a full sun to semi shade position. Calla Lilies make excellent cut flowers and last weeks in a vase.
