The funnel shaped buds open to star cut flowers. The blooms begin opening in spring and continue on to autumn. The leaves are mid to bright green and heart shaped with serrated edges.
Dry hardy one established this plant is an ideal evergreen ground cover in light shade to full sun positions. If you don’t use it as a ground cover try trailing it through rockeries or over retaining walls. They have a vigorous growth rate.
The botanical name Campanula is from the Latin for ‘little bell’. Commonly known as Serbian Bellflower.
