Bluebells White
White blooms to brighten a shaded spot.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

White blooms burst from these tough, easy care bulbs. Excellent for naturalising. Perfect for semi shaded areas needing colour. Bluebells are one of the few spring bulbs that tolerate shade. They are native to woodland areas so grow best in dappled light. In cool climates they will tolerate full sun. Plant into humus rich, well drained soil. Plant 10-20cm deep and around 10cm apart. Bluebells look amazing planted beneath deciduous trees, in drifts or cut for indoor display. They are tolerant of root competition. The bulbs are best planted where they can be left to naturalise. The bulbs will multiply gradually. Add a general purpose fertiliser such as blood and bone when they are in bloom.
