Fragrant stars.
This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Small, creamy white blooms cluster at the top of upright stems. The blooms have a sweet fragrance. The flowers are sometimes followed by green, ornamental berries that turn red in autumn.
A woodland perennial that is closely related to the well known and loved Solomon's Seal (Polygonatum). The mid green, veined leaves grow to 15cm along erect stems. Solomon's Plume will grow to form a handsome clump. In autumn the foliage turns yellow.
Plant in humus rich, moist, well drained soil. Solomon's Plume grows best in the semi shade to bright light areas, that are favoured by Hostas and ferns.
Other common names include False Solomon's Seal, Wild Spikenard and American Spikenard. Botanically it was previously known as Smilacina racemosa.
