Dwarf, upright, evergreen Bamboos with handsome foliage. Dwarf Bamboo is quick to establish and looks gorgeous in containers, or as a ground cover (you can even trim with a mower), as a small hedge or even a Bonsai.
You can plant Dwarf Bamboo into the garden, but keep in mind it is a running variety. You can easily contain it with a plastic root barrier. If their wandering doesn't bother you, you can leave them to ramble through your garden, they are good for securing eroding soil.
Grow Dwarf Bamboo in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Once planted they tend to look after themselves, becoming dry tolerant once established. It originates in the woodlands of China and Japan.
Collection, one of each variety, separately labelled. Includes Pygmy Bamboo, Chrysophyllus 'All Gold' and Green Strip Bamboo. Valued at $49.50 SAVE $5.50.
